This piece of art is a linocut print. The image was made using a giant stamp that was carved out of linoleum. Matt pulls each print by hand on an etching press and then numbers and signs them and sometimes his hand gets tired. The pressure from the press creates an impression in the American-made paper adding depth and character that digital printing cannot achieve. This beautiful piece of wall art is guaranteed to make any room in your house at least 24% more awesome. You can hang it in your kitchen or living room or bedroom even. Or your office. You get the idea: it’s versatile. And awesome. You can also give it as a gift to someone who needs a little more awesome in their life.
